FINALLY the wait is over! Long have we heard the demands for our own Astoria Workshop Hylian Shield run, and at long last it’s here. Complete your Hero’s quest with one of Hyrule kingdom’s most iconic emblems today with our life-sized Hylian Shield replica, paired perfectly with our latest Master Sword replica 😁
Each one of these shields is constructed from aluminum, brass and wood and features an intricate 2k paint job to bring an idealized shine and presence to the iconic piece that will be eye-catching in any light it’s presented in. We’ve worked diligently to make these the most striking pieces we can, while still offering a piece with a profile and price-point ideal for cosplayers and wall displays that won’t have you OR your walls sweating bullets trying to hold them up. We’ve trimmed down our design to feature a more slim profile that will be easy for cosplayers to haul around for long sessions, with an adjustable leather belt and a premium leather-wrapped grip handle that swivels to lay flat for easy wall mounting.
Each Hylian Shield is hand painted and crafted by an individual artist, so expect minor imperfections here and there that can’t really be avoided within human error. Things like minuscule paint imperfections, micro markings, hairline scratches or otherwise will not be grounds for a return, exchange or refund. If you don’t like art that looks like human hands held and worked with it, please do not purchase our pieces. While we strive for perfection in everything we do, we leave ourselves the grace and breathing room to accept that pieces this large will almost never be 100% free of minuscule imperfections. Things like tiny craters, a ding or two in the metal, signs of aluminum casting and so on are almost entirely unavoidable when working with pieces of this scale and size and given how I have to handle them while painting, detailing and assembling. It is also normal to expect there can be small gaps between the pieces bolted to the top and the pearl blue surface, due to the slight differences in curvature and the molding process. Please be ready to embrace minor imperfections with these as a sign of human art, and again if you aren’t prepared for that, please do not purchase.
Handle with care! These are fine art, NOT toys. They have a cast resin back panel and cast aluminum front and inner frame, so please still handle them with care like the fine art they are and don’t whack them with things or allow them to take a fall. A nasty fall could still damage your piece!
We also are not striving for “100% game accuracy” so please do not expect that either. We like doing artist interpretations and idealized takes on things, and have combined elements of multiple games and concept art images into one final end result. We don’t enjoy copying an image pixel for pixel, we prefer artist interpretation and freedoms with these things.
